Master Key Systems for Las Vegas Businesses
A master key system gives each person a key to the doors they need and no others, while one top key opens everything. When someone leaves, you change one cylinder instead of the whole building.

The Levels, in Plain Words
| Level | Who Might Carry It | What It Opens |
|---|---|---|
| Change key | A new hire | One door, such as the front door |
| Submaster | A shift lead | A group of doors, such as the back rooms |
| Master | The owner or a manager | Every lock in the set |
| Grand master | An owner with more than one building | Several master systems |
Wikipedia has a good overview of the idea.
Control the Keys
A master keyed lock is easier to attack than a single key lock, so the system needs key control to go with it. A restricted keyway keeps copies from being cut at a hardware store. Without a door and person list, a system turns into a drawer of unlabeled keys.
What It Costs
Housecall Pro put a small office system of 6 to 12 locks at $300 to $800 in August 2026. That is a national range and not our quote. Business estimates from us are free.
